Oh, Elder Ballard. Even though we can’t google a testimony and have it we can get close. When I typed in “testimony” it was nice to see that the Church’s definition of testimony is the third listing. Nice!

I agree with you, that it is nice to see a link so near the top of a google search with ‘testimony’ correctly represented.
I heard Elder Ballard’s words as inspired guidance from our Eternal Father in Heaven, imparted through our faithful Brother in General Conference.
Imagine how many people might benefit from doing the basics; study, fast, pray. Google could have a place in study, but it won’t replace fasting nor prayer.
Google, like anything else, can become a distraction. We are being cautioned not to go looking for false gods… things which consume our time and make us lose focus on greater work.
By the way, I enjoy the art at the top of the page. Yours?
